So I believe I already told you of my great love for fabric, right? and I seem to remember mentioning how I love quilts, right? Though it's true that I have yet to attempt to make one in "real life" that doesn't stop me from happily browsing through all those gorgeous co-ordinated fat quarters at my local quilt shoppe. Well all those darling little bundles tied with pretty bows are the inspiration for my new series of kits appropriately named "FAT QUARTER BUNDLES".
My "Sandcastles" Collection is yet another in this series! So I'm guessing you can tell that the beach and all things beachy were a huge inspiration for this kit, hey? Oh heavens I hope so or I'm not a very good designer, hey? hahahaha Yup... this ones all about the sand, surf, and the sun! It's full of colorful beach accessories! Umbrellas, sunglasses, palm trees, and flip flops to keep your feet cool from the sand! Hope this one takes you to the beach with me!
Included:
8 "Fat Quarter Fabric" Backgrounds (flipflops, plaidblue, blue, plaidtoo, red, sand, stripe, sunshine)
2 quilt backs (waves, and beach scene)
1 beach ball (already blown up and itchin' to be thrown)
2 borders of waves (blue and dark blue)
3 ribbon bows (blue dark, blue med, plaid)
1 bucket with shovel
1 beach bucket
8 buttons (bluedots, blueplaid, bluestripe, flipflops, green, reddots, redstripe, yellowdots)
4 flip flops (all you have to do is copy the one shoe and then flip horizontal and ya got yourself a pair!)
1 footprint (if you make a few of these and change the layer to "multiply" you can footprints across the sand)
1 stitched palm tree (so you can escape the sun)
6 ribbons (blue, fish buttons, sandcastle, stripe, stripetoo, yellow)
1 ribbon with bow (flipflops)
4 ricrac elements (blue, green, redpliad, sand)
1 sandcastle element (all built for ya)
1 shovel (you need it to build the castle, no?)
1 sun element (gotta have sun with the surf, hey?)
